Marinated Beef Flank Steak Recipe
At the ranch, we make grass fed flank steak often. Flank steak is best marinated which tenderizes this cut of meat.
You can fire up the grill and make extra flank steak to refrigerate for meals throughout the week. Flank steak is good hot or cold.
1 lb. grass fed beef flank steak
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 cup vegetable oil
In a blender, combine the soy sacue, honey, vinegar, garlic powder; and vegetable oil.
Lay steak in a shallow glass dish. Pierce both side of the steak with a sharp fork (our jaccard meat tenderizer works perfectly). Pour marinade over steak, then turn and coat the other side. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
Preheat grill for high heat. If indoor cooking, preheat grill pan for high heat. Brush grill lightly with oil. Place steaks on grill, discard marinade. Cook for 10 minutes, turn once, remove from heat and cover for 10 minutes. Slice and serve.
